接戦が繰り広げられるMoto2™の新たな試みとして、トライアンフとドルナスポーツは2020年開幕戦より「トライアンフ トリプル トロフィー」をスタートさせました。
Moto2™ ではレースウィーク中、GPでの勝利だけを目指して熾烈な戦いが繰り広げられることは周知のとおりです。
そこで「トライアンフ トリプル トロフィー」では、各GPのレースウィークに活躍したライダー自身をもっと評価しようと、最高速、ポールポジション、最速ラップを記録したライダーにポイントが与えられることになりました。最高速を記録したライダーには7ポイント、ポールポジションは6ポイント、最速ラップは5ポイントが与えられます（同一タイムの場合は複数のライダーにポイントが与えられます）。
